Our History
The Beginning of a Remarkable Journey
The esteemed journey of Sri JeyaprabhaJewellers (P) Ltd began with Mr. KVK Rajendra Prabhu, who initially ventured into the hospitality industry. His Son, Mr. KVKR Prabaharan, later transitioned the family business into the realm of precious jewelry, establishing a revered brand known for its exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled quality. Mr. Prabaharan's notable contributions include his tenure as Vice President of the Tamil Nadu Jeweller’s Federation (TNJF) and Chairman of the Exhibition Organizing Committee from 2011 to 2015.
A Heritage Rooted in Gemstones
Rooted in a family legacy of gemstone trading and mining in Myanmar, the KVKR brothers – Prabaharan and Kaveri Krishnan – brought their ancestral expertise to Madurai. Leveraging this rich heritage, they established Sri Jeyaprabha Jewellers (P) Ltd on West Chettiar Street in 1989, eventually incorporating Jeyaprabha Jewellers Private Limited.
